I have Hardball on because I’m bored and contemplating why the man many streets away must obsessively rev his bike for hours without end. They’re talking about the Democratic Presidential Forum going on tonight on MSNBC and it says that “Live Blogging” will take place.
What exactly is Live Blogging?
Is this similar to when ESPN will tell you what’s going on in an overly priced boxing match after each round? Or when you listen to a baseball game on the radio and they’ll cover the action? The debate is free, so I guess this is just something you would need if you didn’t have cable. Maybe live blogging begins after the debate, but then it wouldn’t be live would it? Do we get to watch the bloggers blog? LIVE?!?
I’m trying to imagine how this works because it sounds absurd to me, and granted I’m in one of those moods today where I’m easily annoyed but I mean … do they just cover the “action”?
Blogger: “Barack Obama with a SHARP rebuttal to Hillary Clinton’s weak health care plan! Her polls are starting to fade and see needs a rally in the next round, but she’ll get a bit of a break here as the bell has sounded. The action now moves on to the ring girls tonight, Dennis Kucinich and Mike Gravel. Expect them to only get a minute or two as we wait for the heavyweights to recover.”
“Official Keith Obermann brings the two combatants back to the center and Hillary’s Iraq Plan is laying BOMBS on Obama’s face! I haven’t seen action like this since the Regan massacres back in the 80s! Obama’s gonna have to pull out a lucky bit of education reform otherwise this could end now! Is that John Edwards trying desperately to climb into the ring?!”
I can’t do it tonight but one of these nights I promise LIVE BLOGGING~! here at U Suxxors whenever one of these debates is on. It might not be until the presidential election but I’m hoping to do it beforehand. The more people involved the better. Stay tuned!
