Miss South Carolina Gets Analyzed

Miss South CarolinaThis is pretty fascinating in a it’s Sunday morning and there’s nothing going on sort of way. Remember the whole Miss South Carolina thing from a month or so back? Compete.com has a statistical analysis of just how the phoenomenon exploded on the internet from the day it happened up until it finally died off.

One demographic shows that males were more interested in seeing a good looking blonde chick make a fool of herself than females were. Not surprising really, but the numbers were a lot closer than I expected. After seeing search after search hit to U Suxxors by males looking for nude pictures of the Miss South Carolina I would’ve figured the gap would be much wider. Maybe she intrigued the ladies too, or they just wanted to laugh at a stupid woman sitting on a pedestal devoted to beauty. Women can be mean and vicious like that sometimes.

South Carolina was of course more interested in the story than the other states. The interesting thing is that the middle of the country, Montana and Wyoming in particular, completely did not give a shit. It’s like the majority of Wyoming was asleep while all this was going on. Maybe they just don’t have a lot of computer users there. Or slow connections.
