A 75 year old woman lost it when Comcast failed to switch her phone service over from Verizon. She picked up a hammer, headed down to Comcast’s local offices, and began to destroy everything non-human while screaming if she had their attention. Basically, she did what every one of us have wanted to do at some point of our lives after dealing with shitty costumer service. I applaud her, and she is the winner of the U Suxxors Person of the Week award despite it only being Monday.
Side story time. I don’t have Comcast but I know a guy that does who’s job requires him to be able to watch various pay per views. He told me that Comcast had this deal where you had a certain limit as to how many pay per views you could order which seems pretty ridiculous because you’d think they’d want people to buy as many as they want so you could make more money. Thing is, for awhile every time he tried to order a PPV they’d tell him he didn’t have enough credits even though he hadn’t used any yet. Took months to finally get it sorted out despite him having to call their offices on an almost weekly basis for some problem or other. Sometimes, I’m happy that all my cable company does it overcharge me.
