So TMZ has this update on the Ellen DeGeneres dog story that has completely gripped this nation but I have to watch a video to find out what it is. Ok, so I push play and there’s this woman running like a bat of a hell across the street and I’m left wondering if I didn’t accidentally end up playing some kind of police chase from Cops or something. The girl it turns out works for the animal shelter behind this whole mess. I’ve been against the animal shelter from day one but damn the paparazzi are ruthless little assholes, basically pinning in her car telling her if she gives a statement it’ll all go away. It’s like some kind of police interrogation session.
I have no idea what TMZ is trying to say here. They’re saying the LAPD officer messed up because it turns out the dog has a microchip under it’s skin with the animal shelter’s name on it when makes the dog their property, but the cop shouldn’t have given the dog back to the shelter despite it being a civil property dispute. I guess the dog was supposed to have Ellen DeGeneres name on the chip but it was never put on there so somehow it’s the officer’s fault. You can try and make sense of the video at the link below.
