Marie Osmond fell on Dancing With the Stars last night. I just watched the video clip on MSNBC (I know) and it’s kinda funny to watch Tom Bergeron taking his sweet time slowly asking for a commercial break in a matter of fact manner, almost as though he’s pretending this chick didn’t just fall over on live TV. MSNBC is of course analyzing this with Contessa Brewer bringing the quote of the day early: “That has to be embarrassing to fall down on live TV.” You think? You know, I’m not so sure Contessa. I think we need another example, why don’t you get up and trip over a rug in the newsroom or something and we’ll see. I can’t pick on Contessa Brewer today, she’s dressed up like an Oktoberfest bar maid and being 1/10th German myself I can’t be mean to her.
Marie Osmond said she fell over (screencap right) because she has a habit of holding her breath when nervous. To the point you pass out? Isn’t your body supposed to prevent you from being able to do that? Someone on MSNBC said it could also be because she’s dieting, which of course means she’s doing something wrong.
