FEMA Gives Fake News Conference

FEMA Fake NewsI’m sad that I missed this story last week during my time away because just when you thought they couldn’t top that Michael Brown guy from the Katrina disaster, FEMA shows they have other tricks up their sleeve. Sometime last week they did a news conference regarding the wildfires in Southern California that killed 12 people at my last check and forced around a million people to be evacuated. The problem with the news conference is that it was fake. They brought in lower level FEMA employees to pretend to be news reporters so they could ask easy questions regarding the fires.

I can’t for the life of me see how someone actually could green light something like this, especially when FEMA already has a very sour reputation following the New Orleans fiasco. Would it have been that hard to just hold a normal news conference? It’s not like the media was breathing down their necks again while showing people screaming for food as old people died around them.
