MSNBC was reporting earlier that a third defendant in the Las Vegas robbery case that made headlines a couple months ago has now agreed to testify against OJ Simpson after making a plea deal for lesser charges. OJ Simpson was photographed after hearing the news (right) but could not be reached for comment. Obviously a lot must be going through the disgraced football great’s mind right now. Could the third confession be the final nail in the coffin for OJ Simpson? Will he finally go to jail for something, anything? Will justice finally be served? Do I have any tomato soup in my kitchen cabinets?
One of two things are going to happen here. Simpson will finally be convicted after a long, sensational trial and spend his waning years in jail, or he’ll prove again in hilarious fashion that the US legal system is completely and utterly inept. More than likely he’ll be convicted, but never say never. It’s a crazy, crazy world.
