According to TechDirt, Fox is looking into pursuing legal options against Republican candidates who use Fox copyrighted material on their websites or in campaign ads. Yes, Fox, the same guys that have a 24 hour news channel accused of being biased towards republicans. They actually started off by targeting John McCain but after being criticized for not going after other candidates, Fox sent cease and desist letters to everyone.
It turns out a bunch of Republicans got together and did a press release awhile back using Simpsons characters that could only be described as being on a whole nother level of stupid. If I were Fox I’d be offended too, but for completely different reasons.
I hope to God none of these Republicans were using illegally downloaded MP3s in their campaign ads, or the RIAA is going to have their ass like a vulture on some dead meat.
