Jennifer Lopez came out with an album called Brave on October 9th and believe it or not I actually heard of it. Unfortunately for her, it only sold 53,000 copies in it’s first week. Lopez hasn’t been burning things up for awhile now, and MSNBC is now reporting that Sony and Epic may actually drop her from their label.
That’s not the interesting part though, because this article also has all the costs involved with keeping Lopez and her singing career going. $300,000 for a music video budget for her last album. $60,000 to photograph her for the cover of the album. $8,000 for makeup a day.
Besides that fact that $60,000 is an absurd amount of money to need to take a photo of someone for one music album cover, Jennifer Lopez must be one hideously ugly woman to require $8,000 in makeup a day to look presentable. That is some serious insanity. What kind of special makeup is needed that costs $8,000 dollars? That’s enough makeup for a small army of women. Do we want to see what she looks like under it? I’m frankly afraid, and I always found her very attractive. I realize everyone uses makeup but Christ I didn’t realize she was basically putting an entire mask over her face every day.
