This one is breaking news~! according to MSNBC Live. Tennis start Martina Hingis has tested positive for cocaine. It’s been speculated that Hingis would be retiring for a second time sometime in the near future due to a possible recurrence of an old hip injury. Hingis also has a habit of saying a lot of stupid things in the media that get her in trouble. I tend to get her confused with Steffi Graf … or whoever that older woman is with the glasses that isn’t Steffi Graf. The only reason I can remotely remember her is I remember the media coverage over the comments she made about the Williams sisters getting endorsement deals because they’re black.
Now it looks like she’s involved in some more controversy that I’m sure will involve her denying she’s ever used cocaine, followed by her coming out years later admitting she did do cocaine. That or she’ll say it was an accident and she thought it was a powdered form of Bengay.
Actually, ESPN says she’s the one that’s admitted to it. Interesting.
