I’m sitting here trying to figure out why MSNBC is covering a CBS reality show on their website. Then I remember it’s MSNBC and I guess Survivor contestants can be considered celebrities now. Maybe they’re just feeling the effects of a lack of interesting celebrity news like everyone else, causing them to get a little desperate.
With that said, if you’re not watching Survivor these days you’re missing out on a rare good season. You’ve got one of the most hilarious, likable guys on the show possibly ever in James. You’ve got a woman that could be more detestable than Johnny Fairplay in Courtney. Granted, I’ve missed a couple seasons after my interest was killed through boy vs girl and race vs race dynamics, but I’m actually happy I turned in this time.
Last night saw a woman who claimed earlier in the show she wasn’t stupid attempt to save herself by playing a hidden immunity idol that was not in fact the actual immunity idol in a moment that could’ve only been greater if it was Courtney’s anorexic ass in the Jamie role. Jame’s reaction stole the moment, and the guy who was supposed to be the quiet non-communicator when this whole she-bang first started is now quickly being the most entertaining part of the show through his charisma.
Meanwhile, Courtney, who I can’t believe is still standing despite appearing to weigh about 44lbs at this point in the show, continues trying to steal the most annoying Survivor character of all time spot away from Johnny Fairplay with her ditzy ass rants about the inane poker player Jean Robert. When you’re ranting about Jean Robert yet I actually dislike you more than I do Jean Robert, there’s a problem. I can’t fathom her lasting to the end, if only because there’s no way she can last another week without her body finally collapsing under the weight of her skin or hair or something. That stick figure to the right has more meat on it’s bones than Courtney does right now. It’s probably the first accurate representation of a particular human being ever on this blog.
