TMZ just posted some news that MSNBC is in talks to give Rosie O’Donnell her own show on their network. I realize I run down MSNBC a lot but I try, nay, I struggle to remain positive for the most part regarding their programming because I find CNN boring and Fox is well … it’s Fox. This might do me in though. The rumor is that they’re thinking about bringing her in to do a show at 9:00PM, replacing Dan Abrams’ current spot. I can’t really blame them for looking for alternatives to Abrams since his show doesn’t really bring anything new to the table, though still it’s not anywhere near as bad as Tucker Carlson’s drivel. Still, you’re going to give Rosie O’Donnell a news show? I see this crashing in a manner similar to the Savage Nation experiment from a couple years ago and possibly becoming a PR nightmare in the aftermath should this actually come to fruition.
