My recent exposure to the stylings of Amy Winehouse has grown. I am thusly enamored, in a non-love sort of way, with her overall offbeatness. She kicked off her UK tour by pissing off her fans with a rant about her currently imprisoned husband Blake Fielder-Civil, and seemed to almost threaten the booing crowd about what would happen when he got out. I’m assuming he’s going to like, kick all their asses. Didn’t it take him and a couple of buddies just to beat up a bartender?
Meanwhile Winehouse fell all over the stage and her singing was reportedly the vocal equivalent of a pair of giraffes having sex. Assuming giraffes make some kind of noise, I’ve never really watched them. She’s missing at least one tooth as well, which I guess isn’t news to people that’ve followed her before but did no one bother to offer her up some falsies or something before she went on stage?
