A cafeteria worker in the Capitol is now out of a job, possibly because Republican representative Mark Souder got his panties in a twist over a sandwich he ordered that came grilled, not toasted. The House Administration Committee Chairman, Robert Brady, is now trying to get the worker his job back believing the firing was bullshit. The cafe manager said she didn’t want to fire Kennison Battle, but was forced to. Why, it doesn’t say, and the manager’s superior won’t answer Brady’s questions. Battle was reportedly a pretty nice guy and well liked.
There should be a federal investigation~! In all seriousness, I don’t think I need to say that Souder is an asshole if he’s the reason Battle is out of a job.
