I had no intention really of talking about the whole Mike Tyson thing because I wasn’t really excited by it you know? It didn’t do anything for me. So as editor and overall EMPEROR of U Suxxors, I decided I wasn’t going to run with a feature. However, I just heard a high-larious tidbit regarding the whole deal from MSNBC. The prison that Mike Tyson will be serving his 24 hour sentence for drug possession at is the same prison that Mike Tyson once visited to talk to prisoners about walking the straight line and staying out of jail.
Let me reiterate. Mike Tyson once visited a prison to talk to prisoners about walking the straight line and staying out of jail.
I’m disappointed in every new organization on the planet as well as every member of the increasingly ineffective paparazzi for not getting video footage of Tyson’s teachings. Seriously, imagine Mike flipping Tyson in a room full of hardened criminals talking to them about how they should go back to school and become productive members of society. Imagine his voice, and the gentle look in his eyes as he tells them about how together, we can all bring the world together and make it a much happier place. Mike Tyson.
