The Bachelor came around the time when Fox and ABC were throwing ideas at the wall and seeing if they could come up with some idea for a reality show that would stick. Most of them lasted a season or two then fell off the face of the earth as people moved from one show to the next or finally came to the realization that they were all the same, said to hell with it, and moved on.
The Bachelor somehow lived through all that because apparently there was a season six winner. I can’t fathom that this show lasted six seasons. I also can’t fathom why the star of season six is one of the most generic looking men I’ve ever seen. Wasn’t the whole point of the show that women are vying for an incredibly handsome rich guy or something? Is he just rich?
If so, for a rich guy, the other night for him sounded like something out of Cops complete with a mugshot of his disheveled girlfriend that busted his lip open. Sounds like he gave the rose to the wrong one. Whoopsie!
