You know, it’s probably a bad thing when your wife suggests you audition for the role of a gay character in a movie because she believes you’re “perfect for the part” but what do I know. Ted Danson’s wife Mary Steenburgen turned down a role in some movie called The Amateurs but told producers that hubby Ted is practically taylor made to play the role of a closet homosexual.
Danson was reportedly stunned at first, but later realized that he’s just fabulously perfect for the part and that his wife “knows him well”.
