As you may have noticed, the banner hyping up our coverage of the Golden Globes on January 13th has been taken down because it turns out the Golden Globes have been canceled due to the writer’s strike. Last week the Screen Actors Guild made a statement that none of it’s members would cross picket lines to attend the show, which pretty much killed any interest in the whole event anyway because no one really cares about the actual awards. It was looking like Gal Val wasn’t going to be going anywhere and I was going to end up having to spend that Sunday night live blogging whatever mediocre borefest of a show they ended up airing on MSNBC, so I can’t say I’m to disappointed with this decision. Gal Val’s upset about not being able to go meet Julia Roberts & George Clooney and talk fabrics with them, but I’ll give her an issue of In Touch later to quiet her down. We’ll hit up another awards show down the road, maybe one involving music. That should drive me suitably insane.
I will take this moment to mention some good news however. I’m currently in closed door negotiations involving pizza crusts & gummi worms big dollars with the Unknown Photographer to bring original, exclusive VIDEO to USuxxors.com. So if things work out in the coming weeks or months we may have some of our own trainwreck celebrity media to bestow upon our loyal readers. The kind of stuff TMZ wouldn’t go near, or even touch for that matter. Ohhh speculation …
