Hollywood Gossip and Political Hoopla

I’m going to be totally honest with you, the reader, as I always am in this blog. The only reason I’m talking about the Hogans today is because every blogger and news organization under the sun has gone with some kind of wrestling related headline when talking about the big divorce, and I felt the need to insert my own into the fray. While I abhor man on woman violence, I can appreciate the thought of Hulk Hogan piledriving Linda Hogan in a courtroom. Not that I support Hulk, but because the thought greatly amuses me.

“The court rules that you must WRESTLE THE HULKSTER in a no time limit, no holds barred matchup!”

Anyway, Hogan filed a counter petition against Linda because he finds her claims that she needs child support for and custody of 17 year old Nick Hogan quite absurd, as do I. Why anyone would possibly want or even admit to wanting custody of Nick Hogan is beyond my mental capacity. Just look at the picture of Nick over at E!. He has this face that just makes you want to clock him with a sock full of fat batteries, whether it’s against your will or not. I can’t fathom that he’s only 17 years old. He already looks like a sleazy annoying bachelor neighbor that tries really hard to look trendy by mushing his hair up in the center of his head into some kind of faux mohawk, but instead he ends up looking like some kind of human duck that has face of Quagmire from Family Guy.

Nick’s new defense by the way is that he saw a puddle in the road while driving, and was unable to avoid going through it due to the presence of another car. Forced to drive through this puddle, he hydroplaned and crashed his Supra. Problem is, none of the on scene investigators saw any sort of standing water that could result in a hydroplane, and none of the witnesses make mention of Hogan skidding in water.

Hulk Hogan Applies a HEADLOCK to Linda Hogan’s Demands

Late yesterday there was a 133 page report released detailing the day and night Nick Hogan, Nick Bollea, whatever you want to call him crashed his Supra into a tree leaving John Graziano with serious brain trauma. It doesn’t look good for him at all.

Hulk Hogan bought alcohol with Nick and his buddies that day, and it sounds like most of the time was spent hanging out and partying. It should be noted that the only one there of illegal drinking age was Nick. No one says they saw Nick drinking alcohol and he was spotted at a tiki bar with a green cup of unknown liquid, but the police did find some alcohol in his system post wreck.

Nick and Graziano were in the Supra driven of course by Nick. Two friends, Barrett Lawrence & Daniel Jacobs, were in a dodge viper. Lawrence says that Jacobs was driving 100mph, and said that’s how they always drive. Fantastic people. In addition, Graziano’s girlfriend’s mother says that she heard Jacobs telling a pastor that he (Jacobs) was going over 100mph. Jacobs told police that he and Nick often “get on it” which I guess is street racing lingo for racing at lights.

Jacobs didn’t want to take a test at the scene because he felt they might discover marijuana in his system. Nick afterwards didn’t know what street he was driving on or what direction he was going, and his eyes appeared bloodshot while his speech seemed slurred.

One of the most telling bits of information however about just how f*cked up the Bollea family was in general is in regards to the modifications Hulk had made to the Supra. After appearing at the grand opening for Ride Revolution, parts were added to the Supra so it had 544 horsepower and 476 pound feet of torque. The common setup for a Supra has 220 horsepower and 215 pound feet of torque. But no, the Bollea family wasn’t doing anything to encourage their 17 year old son to street race or anything like that. Between this and the Linda Hogan street racing video from last week, the whole family is starting to look obsessed with speed.

Not Looking Good For Nick Hogan

Yes, divorce. Linda Hogan has filed divorce papers, and suddenly it looks like the Nick Hogan trial isn’t the only problem Hulk Hogan has to deal with now. I’ve heard on their reality show that they’ve been playing a “story” where Linda was considering divorcing from Hulk, but it was actually just made up for their “reality show”. So either it was actually real to begin with, or it became real. F***ing reality shows are so confusing.

The funniest part was Hogan’s reaction after being called by a St Petersburg Times reporter. After being told about the divorce papers, which Hogan didn’t know about, he simply said “Thank you for the great information.” and hung up. That is the strangest sounding sentence to me for some reason, and I seriously start laughing every time I hear his voice saying it while also tacking a “brother” on the end. He called the paper back five minutes later and got the details because he really had no idea this had happened, telling the reporter he was shocked and caught off guard.

Not a fun year to be a Hogan family member.

TMZ - Linda Files Divorce Papers

I love picking on Nick Hogan because I personally think he’s a sack of something awful, but it’s turning out that he’s not the only one in his family that likes to race cars and put other people’s lives in danger.

TMZ pulled themselves away from a breaking Mel Gibson coffee drinking incident to post video on their site of Linda Hogan not only street racing with daughter Brooke Hogan, but also exclaiming how she loves dodging in and out of cars with the radio blaring while avoiding any cops in the area while doing her best to act like she’s 20 hanging out with similarly aged street racers. Just insane video.

She was asked about the incident post Nick Hogan car wreck and denied ever saying the things that TMZ have her on video saying. Boy, it’d really suck if this was brought up during the Nick Hogan trial wouldn’t it? Nick also said in a Hogan Family ABC interview that he isn’t driving anymore, which makes no sense because he was bragging on MySpace last month about his racing career. Unless racing isn’t consider driving in his head.

Speaking of, the Hogans are now saying that Nick wasn’t speeding, and the injuries that left John Graziano brain dead are his fault because he wasn’t wearing a seatbelt. I hope Court TV covers this thing because I’d love to see them actually use that defense.
